Today we commemorate the birth of the Church. As promised by the Jesus, the Holy Spirit descended with the sound of a mighty wind and the appearance of fire, signaling the arrival of the church.
On this 27th anniversary, we recognize that our survival and growth are not by human wisdom, but by the sovereign work of the Spirit. He is the one who convicts us of the Word and unites us as one body in Christ.
We gather today to offer a choral sacrifice of praise,- not as a performance, but as a response to God's faithfulness. May the Spirit continue to purify our hearts and empower our witness for the glory of God alone.
