For over 20 years, the IREC Hamburg Choir has been the "heartbeat" of our congregation.

What began in 2005 as a small group of a few voices gathered around a piano has grown into a vibrant ministry of 10-15 members dedicated to the art of worship. Thomas Mondong leads the weekly rehearsals alongside musicians trained within the choir group.

Our primary goal is to use our voices to praise God and share blessings with the congregation, drawing people closer to Him through the power of singing songs and praises.

We perform a wide range of sacred music; from the soaring heights of our Easter Hallelujah to the quiet, contemplative hymns of Lent, our mission remains the same: to lift our voices in service to God and our church community. We are more than just a choir; we are part of the same Body of Christ—singing, worshiping, praying, and fellowshipping together, while supporting one another through all of life's seasons.

The choir regularly performs during Sunday worship services, annual retreats, Christmas and Easter services, as well as during prison visitations and at retirement homes.

Whether we are singing a century-old hymn or a contemporary choral piece, we strive to make every word a prayer. We invite all who have a song in their heart to join us as we continue to sing with joy, one song at a time.
